Along with being a surfer, farmer, father & Cancer survivor, Pat Simmons Jr. is an island-style folk singer from Maui. His music is a diverse blend of American folk-rock, country, blues, and reggae, with a traditional Hawaiian influence from his island upbringing. Recently joined by Nor-Cal locals, Sam & Adam Frey (on bass & drums), the trio opens up room for Pat’s tasteful electric guitar playing. With solid rhythm guitar and soulful vocals, Pat’s warm sound expresses simple messages of environmental and social revolution; echoing some of his heroes, like Jack Johnson & Xavier Rudd. Pat is a 2018 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards finalist for his debut E.P. “This Mountain”.
